When I originally tried this out with the family, I pulled the classic “mom move” and didn’t tell anyone that I had swapped out their favorite taco seasoning brand.
Nobody said a word.
So I asked…
They loved it!
I love that this recipe has all natural, real food ingredients and no fillers. It’s nothing but pure flavor.
The guys love it because it tastes good!

Taco Seasoning
Ingredients
- 1 t onion powder
- 1 t garlic powder
- 3 t chili powder
- 1 t paprika
- 1 t cumin
- 1 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t oregano
- 1/32 t powdered stevia
Instructions
- Mix.
This taco seasoning recipe is easy to make in a larger quantity. Everything (except the stevia) is in full teaspoons, so just change all of the measurements to tablespoons, adjust the sweetener and you’ll have a triple batch!
If you’re looking to add even more flavor to your Mexican meal, check out my Avocado Salsa. It’s delicious on tacos!
Need some stevia? This is the brand I like: Pure Stevia Extract Powder. If you’d rather use another sweetener, just know that 1/32 of a teaspoon equals about the sames sweetness as 5 t of regular sugar.
