As I write this, we’re in the truck headed to Madison for the first home Badger football game of the season!
We’re pretty excited and hoping for a big win, but most of all, it’s really got me thinking.
You see, when we watch a big game, in the end, all we want is the W.
We forget about all of the planning, practice and coaching that happens before that W.
It’s kind of the same thing with our health.
We want the big wins, but we forget about all the planning and practice that’s needed to reach our health goals.
Health doesn’t just happen.
And it isn’t built in three hour hours, either.
It’s the little things that we do over and over again that build the big picture.
It’s choosing the salad over the cheeseburger, drinking an extra glass of water and choosing to quit bingeing Netflix and getting your bum to bed.
What little things are you doing today?
Let me know in the comments below!
And of course, GO BADGERS!!!
Played pickle ball. Choosing to cook a healthy dinner at home in place of using “it’s the weekend” excuse to go out and/or make poor food choices.
